This 5 Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife & Chimpanzee Tour will take you on a wildlife safari to Uganda’s most visited national park. The tour will get you enjoying game drives, a boat cruise and a chimpanzee trekking excursion in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is the second largest national park and it is located in western Uganda. The park is mostly known for its vast biodiversity including lakes, rivers, wild animals, bird species, wetlands, rugged savannah grasslands and amazing landscapes. The park is home to over 95 mammal species including four of the big five (lions, leopards, buffaloes and elephants) and over 600 bird species – which makes it the number one birding safari destination in Uganda.
More so, Queen Elizabeth National Park is aligned to Kyambura Gorge – a popular home to the national park’s primate species. Kyambura Gorge is located in the eastern part of Queen Elizabeth. The Gorge is seated in a valley where the juggled river Kyambura used to flow. The gorge is the only place in Queen Elizabeth where chimpanzee trekking is done. Other primate species found in Kyambura include chimpanzees, olive baboons, vervet monkeys and white & black colobus monkeys, among others. Your 5 Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife & Chimpanzee Tour will start and end in Kampala.
