Day 1: Welcome to the Pearl of Africa
A representative of Steadfast Safaris will meet you at Entebbe International Airport and accompany you to the hotel booked for your comfort in Kampala or Entebbe depending on the time of arrival.
Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
The trip will start when the Steadfast representative picks you up from your hotel and guide you to the airport for your flight to Kisoro. The Hotel Van will pick you up from the airport to Mutanda Lake resort to relax and have lunch.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Batwa cultural trail, it is a depiction of the past forest life for the Batwa people who were traditional forest hunters and gatherers before conservation and tourism were introduced in the area. Here, you will learn about the ancient forest life of Batwa and which was originally comprised of hunting, fruit gathering, collecting honey and performing of rituals in the caves within the forest. Have a chance to meet the traditional blacksmith in the area, the traditional healer – who presumably heals different diseases with just local herbs. You will also get a chance to try some of their activities like food preparing and hunting.

Day 3: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
The day will start with an early morning breakfast at the lodge, followed with a drive to the Rushaga headquarters by the guide. The Park rangers will brief you about gorilla tracking rules – what to do and what not to do while in the park. The activity of tracking these gentle giants will kick off, with the guide of the rangers into the forest.
This will be a great, memorable and amazing experience watching the Mountain gorillas in their natural habitats as they feed, play and also do their day to day activities. Gorilla tracking can last from 2 hours to 8 hours since it depends on the current location and movement of the gorillas. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will have a maximum of one hour with them as you admire and take photos and drive back to the lodge. Later in the evening, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Mutanda as you view the magnificent sunset.

Day 4: Fly back to Entebbe
Arise to an early breakfast as you enjoy the tranquil surroundings of Bwindi after which breakfast, you will take a drive to Kisoro and depart to Entebbe, reaching most probably in the afternoon. The guide will drop you off to the hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back home.
